Years of Establishment

The Rural Community Development Organization (RCDO) operates from its main office in Khartoum, Sudan, with five field offices strategically located in (Gadaref State), El Geneina (West Darfur), Port Sudan (Red Sea State), Kassala (Kassala State), with recent regional office in Kampala (Uganda) to ensure effective program implementation.
Since its operation in 2007, RCDO has served as a trusted implementing partner for numerous UN agencies, including DCPSF, UNDP, UNHCR, FAO, UN-Habitat, UN-WOMEN, IOM, and UNICEF. Additionally, RCDO collaborates with a wide range of international NGOs (INGOs) such as NRC, NCA, IMC, SI, Concern Worldwide, CRS, MSF, Tearfund, and cooperation with private sector Hagaar Foundation.
The organization focuses on Peacebuilding and Women Empowerment, Protection, Food Security and Livelihoods, and Basic Services & Infrastructure including Education, Health, and Environmental Sustainability. Through these partnerships’ program, RCDO consistently delivers impactful and sustainable programs that address the needs of vulnerable communities across Sudan and Uganda.
