Increased equitable access for women, men, girls and boys to safe and adequate water supply, sanitation hygiene, environmental health services and Nutrition to IDPs, Refugees and Host Communities in North Darfur, Gedaref and White Nile States
Immediate Outcomes and Activities:
Outcome 1: Increased access by IDPs, Refugees and Host Communities to safe and adequate water for drinking, cooking and bathing in Gedaref State, Emergency water supply through water trucking (for at least 3 months)and Water chlorination.
Activities:
- Latrines Desludging
- Provision of waste bins (100Litres)
- Waste management Tool Kits
- Vector control
- Monthly waste collection/cleaning campaign and aware ness session
- Distribution of Hygiene Kits (including Menstrual Hygiene Management supplies)
- Hygiene Promotion and Awareness sessions
- Installation of Hand Washing Facilities
